Adams County Stars & Stripes celebration

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations early at the fourth annual Stars & Stripes event on Tuesday, July 3, 4-10 p.m., at Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton. This free celebration, presented by Conoco Phillips, includes live music from Boogie Machine, family-friendly activities, food and drinks, and a musical fireworks display, which will start at 9:30 p.m.

Stars & Stripes will include a Children’s Fun Zone, with a rock climbing wall, bungee run, Velcro wall, and more. Attendees may take advantage of horseshoes and disc golf before the event begins. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m. and parking at the Riverdale Regional Park is free.

For the safety and comfort of your pets, please do not bring animals into the park for the Stars & Stripes event. Visitors are kindly reminded that most fireworks are illegal in Adams County; please leave fireworks of any type to the pros.
