Come join the Commerce City Chamber at a community battery take-back event in Commerce City with support from NWRA’s Rocky Mountain Chapter, 3R Technology Solutions, South Adams County Fire Department, Commerce City Chamber of Commerce, and City Government of Commerce City.
Stop by to meet Woodsy Owl, tour his airstream, take photos, and pick up some “Skip the Bin” swag including coloring books, magnets, bracelets, and more.
We’ll be collecting most household batteries, including button cell from watches, hearing aids and small electronics; Single Use AA, AAA, 9 Volt, C and D; and, removable rechargeable including lithium-ion and nickel-cadmium (NiCad) batteries from electronics such as toothbrushes, shaving razors, drones, laptops, cameras, phones and power tools. NOT ACCEPTED are automotive (car) batteries, vapes, industrial or large-format batteries, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), e-bike or scooter batteries; or, batteries still inside devices. Please remove batteries before bringing them.
